FAQ

Is there an app where I can track my workouts and progress?

Yes! The program will be available through an app, where you’ll find all your workouts and be able to log your weights and track your progress.

Follow along with you, or single exercise clips?

Strength workouts at the gym will include demo videos for each exercise. Pilates x Strength workouts will be follow-along sessions, just like the ones you know from my YouTube channel.

Can I mix home and gym?

Yes! The program is designed around your preferred focus. It will combine Pilates x Strength workouts with strength training you can do at home or in the gym. You’ll choose the focus that suits you best, and I’ll put together a structured plan tailored to it, so you won’t have to navigate through a huge library of workouts.

How many workouts per week?

You’ll choose a workout frequency and duration that fit your schedule, around 30–40 or 40–60 minutes. Pilates x Strength workouts will be longer than my YouTube sessions, with shorter options available. I’ll adjust your plan during monthly check-ins based on how you’re feeling and what life looks like.

Can I add my runs to the week?

Running can definitely fit alongside the program. As a runner myself, I see strength and Pilates as a great complement to running, helping you build strength, stability and balanced movement. Before I build your program, you’ll be able to tell me how many sessions you’d like from me around your other sessions, for example two full-body strength sessions alongside your runs. The program focuses on strength and mobility, so it won’t include specific running workouts from my side. If there’s interest, I may consider adding running workouts in the future.

Is it for beginners?

It’s a progressively built program, with easier and more challenging options, and I can tailor the weekly frequency to you, even two sessions a week. I’d still describe it as intermediate to advanced, as many of you have asked for more of a challenge. If you’re new to strength training or Pilates but have an athletic background and feel comfortable with basic movements like squats, lunges and deadlifts, you can follow the program. If you’re completely new to training and still learning basic movements and technique, I’d recommend starting with a more foundational program or working one-on-one with a personal trainer to learn the basics and build confidence.

Can I build muscle at home?

Yes, absolutely. You can build muscle at home; you don’t need a gym. Building muscle comes from progressively challenging your muscles over time, for example by increasing your weights or the number of reps you do. The right nutrition and recovery matter too, but the training stimulus is essential. For Pilates strength workouts I recommend 1–3 kg dumbbells. For strength workouts, 5–15 kg dumbbells can be useful depending on the exercise and muscle group. You could start with 5–10 kg and increase the weight as you get stronger. Squats and deadlifts generally call for heavier weights than exercises for smaller muscle groups. Some Pilates strength workouts also use a yoga block and a Pilates ball.

Is there skill work like handstands?

There won’t be a dedicated handstand program this time, but you’ll be able to add pull-up skill work to your plan. If there’s a lot of interest in handstand training, I’d be happy to consider adding it in the future.
